Key Purpose of the role:
To manage the storage, preparation, cooking and presentation of all food. All food to be
served in the desired company ticket times. Maintaining strict health and hygiene standards.
Following the kitchens opening and closing procedures and carrying out daily and weekly
cleaning tasks in the kitchen and storage areas on an on-going basis.
Responsibilities include:
• Delivering our fresh, handmade food to specification, understanding the importance
of quality and consistency
• Ensure that you comply with legislation regarding Security, Health & Safety and Food
Hygiene and Licensing laws.
• Help to minimize waste
• Ensuring all delivery items are inspected for quantity, quality and use-by date and are
put away correctly
• Can fully explain and demonstrate the allergen procedures
• Own your section and duties including open and close down checks
• Work at pace
• Informing the management of any stock or equipment issues
